High efficiency and performance-driven design have always been at the core of my work. As we confront the ongoing challenges of global warming, the need for smarter, energy-efficient, healthier, and more sustainable communities is more urgent than ever. As a licensed Architect and Certified Passive House Consultant and Builder, I am deeply passionate about sustainable design and Passive House construction. Our built environment profoundly impacts our planet, our health, and the well-being of our communities.

By focusing on energy efficiency, low-carbon materials, and high-performance building strategies, we can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions while creating healthier and more comfortable spaces for people to live and work. Passive House principles offer a proven path to achieving these goals by minimizing energy use, maximizing indoor air quality, and promoting long-term environmental resilience.

As an Owner’s Project Manager (OPM), I advocate for high-performance buildings that go beyond code (i.e., prioritizing energy efficiency, occupant comfort, high thermal resistance, durability and long-term value). I am committed to helping owners and developers produce projects that are beautifully built, environmentally responsible and future ready.

For over 30 years, we have been assisting Owners and Developers with their planning, design and construction projects.

 Our dedication to focusing on project goals, objectives, schedule and budget has proven to be a success in delivering projects on time and on budget.

As the construction industry continues to develop into more building science programs, we continue to educate ourselves with the most up-to-date energy efficient, sustainable and code compliant building practices. Understanding the project goals, we manage various engineers, designers, and consultants to see that project goals are met. We have managed numerous energy efficient, deep energy retrofit, Energy Star, LEED, and Passive House construction projects in the past few years, as Energy Efficiency and Sustainability continue to be at the forefront of newer industry standards.

We act on behalf of the Owner, and always have their best interest in mind when serving as an Owner’s Project Manager or performing Lender inspections. Our goal is to minimize the Owners risk and assemble the best team to work together to meet the project objectives. We review project schedules on a monthly basis to verify that progress is on track and advise on reasonable activity projections to meet the completion date; this is also a valuable process in the monthly requisition and payment process to protect lenders financial risk.

We are passionate about the projects we are involved with and treat them as if the project were our own. We want all parties involved in the project to be successful and put forth our best efforts to see that proper due diligence is provided by everyone, scopes are defined, budgets are aligned and schedules are accurate and comprehensive.
